Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), Khadijah (AS), and Imam Ali (AS) Perform the First Prayer

This scene is one of the most iconic and poignant moments at the dawn of Islamic history. This act of worship, performed when there were only three people on earth who had embraced Islam, laid the foundation for billions of future believers.

The Pioneers: The first woman to accept Islam was Khadijah (AS), and the first child (and one of the first among men) was Ali (AS). This trio formed the first congregation of Islam.

Witnessing at the Kaaba: According to many historical narrations (such as the testimony of ʿAfīf al-Kindī), these three individuals were seen praying beside the Kaaba. At that time, the people of Mecca watched this unfamiliar form of worship with curiosity and astonishment.

The Position of Ali (AS): Although Ali (AS) was still a young child at the time, having been raised under the tutelage of the Prophet (PBUH), he joined this rank without hesitation.

Symbolic Value: This event represents the coming together of the concepts of loyalty (Khadijah AS), submission (Ali AS), and messengership (Muhammad PBUH). It is regarded as the first "congregational prayer" of Islam.
