Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Sets Out for the Conquest of Mecca Accompanied by Several Archangels

Referred to in Islamic history as “Fatḥ al-Mubīn” (the Manifest Conquest), this event (630 CE) was a tremendous victory won without bloodshed. The spiritual dimension of this journey can be summarized as follows:

The Majestic March: The Prophet (PBUH) set out from Medina with a mighty army of 10,000. This was the largest force Islam had ever seen up to that day.

The Escort of the Archangels: According to narrations, this conquest was supported not only by a physical army but also by a spiritual host consisting of Gabriel, Michael, and thousands of angels. The presence of the angels symbolizes that this conquest was a divine decree and a sign of the end of idolatry.
